Who is South Coast Embroidery? Get to know us!

Maybe you've stumbled across our blog because you're interested in custom clothing or maybe you've found us because you're a business in need of workwear - no matter the reason, you're probably wondering who South Coast Embroidery is. Let us introduce ourselves...

South Coast Embroidery

Is led by husband and wife team Kyle and Alexandra Stoneham. We're based on the beautiful Island of Portland, in Dorset, having moved from Essex over 4 years' ago. South Coast Embroidery was set up in 2022 by Kyle to supply sailing clubs and events with printed merchandise, but since those early days we've grown into a small business that provides local Dorset companies with bespoke workwear, uniform and gifts.

While the company is only a few years old, we've got many years of industry experience behind us! In fact, Kyle set up his first print & embroidery business from his Dad's garage way back in 2007! There's not much he doesn't know about an embroidery machine and how to get the best out of your logo or design.

Kyle may be the technical brain behind the operation, but Alexandra is the communications pro! Leaving an 18 year career in global pharmaceutical communications to join Kyle in the business, she knows what it takes to provide responsive, informed and personal customer service. Together, Kyle and Alexandra are always on the look out for new, innovative and creative solutions to clothing branding - and they love to hear your imaginative ideas!

Now this post wouldn't be complete without mentioning our special 'Head of Barketing', who keeps the team grounded with her constant need for strokes and sideways glances, letting everyone know when it's time for her daily walk!

South Coast Embroidery has lots of exciting business developments to tell you about over the next few months - so watch this space!
